Saving issues (yes, I've read the faq)

***FYI: Save = Export it as an WMV or AVI***

So I have been saing my video in different stages (about every 15 seconds or so of completed footage).

The last time I had a video done I had about 1:50ish done in my video (which is 5:30 long). So I know it's been working up till now. I got a big chunk of said video done (to about 2:30 ish) before I tried to save the next video.

Then I got an error saying that it was:

*The place where I am trying to save it doesn't exsist Wrong. It's fine and I've tried saving in more then one place now with no effect.

*The footage I was using might not be valid Wrong. No red X's. All HuffyAVI files. I even reimported said files again just like the FAQ says.

Now, this started happening as SOON as I started putting in alot of my Eva clips (Still Huffy's, nothing different from my Utena and RahXephon clips in the way they were processed) in a row.

So it's the Eva clips Ozzie.

Well, I'm not so sure. As previously stated, I did nothing different in processing the clips *and* in the earlier parts of my video, I have clips of Eva and they've not been a problem before.

So I took out each clip, one by one and tried saving the file that way. No luck. I went all the way back to the last "good" clip and it STILL wouldn't let me save.

Now, I can't even save from any of my eariler project files.

I've run Anti_Virus and Spyware software, restarted numerous times, shut down evey other process that could possibly use RAM and still had no luck.

So, any settings or what not I can look at?

If you used a lot of clips right before the error, maybe your project got too complicated.

Did you try breaking your project into pieces so they export easier? Copy and paste clips into new project files, export them separately, convert them to huffyuv with avisynth and vdub, reattach the pieces into one large huffyuv file using the append option in vdub, then compress.

Other possibilities - I know you said it wasn't the eva, but...
Is the aspect ratio for that anime different from the other clips you were using? That can contribute to memory-based export errors.

No. *sigh* The thing is, i can't export the earlier versions of my video now...ivdeos that I have exported before in multiple formats.

Nope. Not to my knowledge.

Again, now it won't let me save my ealier projects either...

Earlier versions? Do you mean you saved more than one project file?

Can you open your project file in wmm? The most recent one you have, with all the clips in the timeline. Open that and highlight the first 20 seconds of it - click on the first clip, hold the shift button, and click the --> arrow to higlighlight the clips on the timeline. Once you have about 20 seconds highlighted, right-click your mouse and select "copy" - then open a new project. Paste the clips on the timeline of the new project and give it a new name (section001). Try to export that video to "wmv high quality large". If it gives you an error, open that project (section001) and highlight the first 10 seconds of it - copy and paste it into a new project (section001a) and try exporting *that*.

If you still can't export, not even 10 seconds worth of clips, then there's something wrong with your source footage. WMM isn't reading the episodes/clips/footage you imported and used in your timeline.
