Downloaded it recently onto my i-pod video and i think its a pretty mad anime, anyone else like it?

There are two OVA's for Bleach, "Memories in the Rain" and "The Sealed Sword Frenzy" which one are you talking about?

Interesting. I've been watching the series on Adult Swim and I like it. I think I will be on the look out for these OAVs. Where do they come in the overall timeline? (don't wanna mess things up for me by watching things out of order. Haven't even finished the 1st seson yet. Think the last episode was either #21 or #22.)

The first one is a retelling of events that happened before bleach that are covered, in part, in other episodes - the content is actually relevant to the story line. The other, i'm not so sure about. I bought the DVD at the Shonen Jump store, but never actually watched it - I think it's a "random bad guy of the week" type filler segment thing.

So basically one is a prequel and the other is some random adventure.

I'm definitely interested in the prequel. How many seasons of Bleach have been made? After what season should I watch the prequel?

Not quite a "prequel" It just goes into detail about Ichigo's mother's death and the resolution of what he discovers regarding it (which is shown in the series, IIRC, with less detail). I think it's designed to be watched somewhere after episode 24 I want to say.

"Seasons" is a loose term. There are 117 episodes of it right now if that answers any questions.
