Wtf this is sad.... Flcl is not even a funny anime its just wierd. Im sorry full metal alchemist is a so so anime not on par at all with something like Legend of the galactic heroes. These awards are shit.

I remember looking at the nominations on ANN a while back. It seems like they just took a tiny handful of well known anime/manga and re-used them for each category.

After seeing those, I didn't bother to follow the rest. I don't know a lot about AAA, but my overall impression was pretty much "pathetic" - then again, I have a general disliking for award shows

take a look at amvs... same basic thing, just because people like animes like fma and flcl they get tons of votes, but...... that dosnt mean that there isnt better anime out there... same can be said about amv awards, best anime dosnt always win...

I think it should've been Azumanga Daioh for best comedy series, or some other funny series which can be picked by wider audience...and not the obvious.
