ahh, how embarassing, the problem was that the raws were something like 119 frames per second so they couldnt work with eps that were 23 fps so i used subbed eps but did my best to get rid of all the subs, i even reviewed it seveal times, but somehow one snuck in, even if it's only there for like 0.1 second, gah i have failed myself, damnit i'm sorry, i'm tempted to do a remastered version just to get rid of that one part

anyway, i considered releaseing just the first 3 parts as an amv just before the fillers actually ended (that may have been a better idea actually) but i really wanted to do an intro to naruto shippuden and rather than make that a separate amv i added it to the end of this one, but in order to make that intro i had to wait for the first 2 episodes to be released and that made the whole "the fillers are over" a bit too late to really have their impact. I probably should have made it 2 amvs, the first one released before the fillers ended and the second one released right now as the intro, but i cant go back and undo what was done so that's that

and as i mentioned before, i didn't want to make "just another naruto" amv, i wanted something with an original concept, honestly, i hate the huge wave of pointless naruto amvs and i will probably hate the impending wave of naruto: shippuuden amvs but i couldnt help making one to celebrating the connecting of the two

but i'm going back to my original promise though, after this amv i'm never making another naruto amv again

well being a naruto fan gives me a mixed view of naruto amvs, i love watching them but after a while they tend to all fall into several catagories such as "naruto vs sasuke", or "rock lee vrs gaara" or "sakura/hinata in love with sasuke/naruto" etc, however, this particular amv broke the mold and really presented an original idea, or several original ideas i guess, the run through of the whole series was especially nice, props for just going through that many episodes

I have to admit that this was good. Although all of my senses screamed and warned me against downloading another naruto vid and wasting my time, which could rather be spent by examining new cracks on the wall of my room, I decided to download this. And as a former (not in the mood to go over next 200+episodes and a brand new filler arc) naruto fan I must say that this was good and I'll maybe give Shippuuden a chance. As a guy who has a few gigs of AMVs on his disk and likes high-quality vids
I can also call this a success because it isn't only a naruto vid, it's naruto vid with a stroke of originality.
The first part let me remember my times as a naruto freak and how I loved the soundtrack. And it was well edited too. The second part came out, I must say, a little worse. Maybe it's the fault of insufficient footage but it was kind of average.
Overall a big surprise in the grey sea of boring naruto vids and the annoying narutism everywhere. Not a member of the unforgettable vids club though (but it isn't unforgettably bad, so don't be sad).
