Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
 • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

sorry, but i only ever started using this forum once i uploaded the vid. I did not know about any guides on this forum until after uploading it. I might do a remake of the vid. Not to worry friends. Maybe Season 2 will come out soon on dvd. I might import them, but that aint happening anytime soon. I'll tell you guys if i've managed to get enough episodes in HQ to remake the vid.

Just a question, but, what would you give the vid if it DID have HQ, No subs etc...
Naruto and Grandia are awesome! Bleach comes second.

They're not on the forum. They're on the Guides section of the website.

Anyways take a look at the guides in the How to section on the main site. It'll be on the side and it'll say How To Guides. That section there has all the information you need to make better quality footage.

I thought I posted that link.

Anyways I just watched the video. Let my start by saying you had some decent beat sync. Story wise it was okay, but lyrical sync could have been better. The scenes could have flow better together, it seemed that they were little rough. Also to mention there were those stray frames. If you want I could go into detail but be prepared for a review with a lot of detail. I willn't go trashing your video, but there is stuff that needs to be worked on.

2/5

The better majority of my favorite animes are unliscenced, not available on DVD imported or otherwise, or have hard subs on the crappy old American DVDs. Soooo what do you do if your software can't (for one reason or another) crop out the subs? Don't use shots with subs on them! =)

37 out of my 80 AMVs came from footage that had subtitles. None of my AMVs have subs in them and it's because I avoided sub clips, not because I cropped them out (with two exceptions). Naruto is a show with like over a hundred episodes in it, isn't it? Many of my vids came from sources an hour long or shorter. Not that their good AMVs or anything, but even the worst video is a little better sub-free. So if I could do it so could you. =)

lol wow! this thread exploded ever since I made the first reply lol. Anyway you gotta understand ppl grade the VIDEOS here, at utoob ppl grade the CREATORS. It's a world of difference. for instance the quality (not including the divx logos and subtitles) IS good enough, in my opinion, but we compare it to other Naruto videos whereas utoob reviews have little to compare it to and therefor tend to flounder a bit. You can't HONESTLY say this quality is better than the most popular Naruto videos.

That is all we are saying. Around here a low score is not an insult to you, your life and your family. Take it in stride, figure out how to fix it, and do better next time.
