Main anime characters you think would make good leaders...
I'm working on a major cross over amv, and I could really use some suggestions. As the topic title suggests, I need recommendations of various anime characters (preferably main characters) who you feel either are or would make really good leaders. The gender of the character doesn't matter since I'd like this project of mine to contain two leaders: a male and a female.
Keep in mind, they don't have to be good guys because I'm also going to need one main bad guy as well. (Once again, gender doesn't matter) This bad guy will kind of have the role of being the leader of all the other bad guys from the shows I'm thinking of using. Creed from Black Cat was the first character who came to mind, but because I know I haven't seen a lot of the various anime out there, I'm still wide open for suggestions.
Just so you all know, I do plan on at least attempting to watch the anime that all the suggested characters come from eventually as hard as that may be to believe. So with that in mind, feel free to agree or disagree with each other. It might just help narrow down my search and save me some time.
Thanks in advance for your time.

Thanks for the suggestions thus far. Before I forget though, I should make one more thing known. I'm also really looking for main characters who don't ride and fight in huge mechanical mechs 100% of the time during the series. Something like G Gundam is ok since characters in that show clearly know how to fight both in and outside the Gundam. So as long as the character being suggested has a few fight scenes throughout the series that don't involve fighting inside huge robots, it's all good. Hopefully that will be the last limitation that comes to mind.
On another note, I've already taken note of Monster, Banner of the Stars, Scrapped Princess, and Code Geass. I'll be sure to look into those relatively soon.
Keep the suggestions coming.

btw, just for future reference, if I seem like I didn't take note of a particular suggestion, it's more than likely because I'm already familar with the character and the anime the character came from. However, your suggestion will still be noted.
Anyways, I just don't want anyone thinking I'm ignoring there recommendations. That's all.
also The Origonal Head Hunter, I'm already using Seph. I made a funny little scene where he's chasing Mugen down some stairs. I've got to redo the cut outs, but it'll look nice once it's done.

Hey, I like your idea! Good luck with it!
For female leader, I suggest Sophia Forrester of Last Exile. She's got the total authority look down in her officer's uniform. I especially like the scene in the opening where she's shouting a command to the crew with a cool arm motion. The very last episode (26) also shows her with some pretty cool leader-ish moments.
