Eh, I think holding him up to some sort of 'professionalism' is unreasonable (as a sociolinguist, I'd have a few things to say about the whole idea of 'professionalism' and editorial checkists

); but I think you guys are making enough fuss out of it for him to use the backlash in his own favour (i.e. for getting attention and 'scoring points').

I think the problem here for alot of us, is this man is the editor of an actual publication.

although it IS congruent with all the other things I've learned about media in my past few years.

We need better media.

This has probably already been said, but I'm too lazy to read through all 7 pages, anyway(I hope I can say this clear enough) Isn't the only way for an original creative amv to exist there would half to be several bad ones? Just a thought...and awful grammar.
