Should my video not make it to the list, would that be a reason? I wouldn't mind it being chopped down at all-- that's kinda how I set it up.
Sure, thats fine. I do prefer a bit of extra around the beginning and end actually.

I don't know. Just leave it in, I'll make a decision on it after seeing it.

Okay, here's a question: I have some clips that would only seem funny with a static bumper at the end - can I put that into my submissions so they would make more sense, or would it be too much of a hassle for you guys to cut out?

You know there's static between clips because of the transitions anyways right?

Not if they decide to change the transitions.

Yeah, I know, in the final version - I'm just saying that if they're looking at the clip that I've submitted before it's in the final version, and before it has any static on it, it might seem less funny - basically, abrupt cut-outs might just seem abrupt without static, and might be passed over out-of-hand by the judges. Putting in my own static as a reference might preserve that part of the humor, but might also disqualify the clip the can't take the time to edit the effect out for the final version. So, if anyone who's helping run the project could let me know if I should include it or not, I'd appreciate it.

I have a dilema. I have a video, it's finished, edited, and all that, I just need a way to make it in black and white, rather than color. The video editing software I use, Camtasia, does not have such an effect, and if I bring it into Windows Movie Maker, it completely screws it up. It stretches the widescreen, it turns it from an AVI to a WMV, and it lowers the quailty substantially. So besides using Movie maker, how else can I make this video turn black and white without it screwing up the quality.
