Yes. It's the same principle exactly. Also, Minion solved this issue by using another ripping program that found the correct key. My suggestion, sayde (nice to hear from you again, you're always a pleasure to help) would be to do the same, assuming multiple game rippers exist. Having never ripped ps2 footage specifically, I don't know how common the software type is.
