I recently converted an m4a file to mp3, so that I could import it into windows movie maker. But every time I import it into windows movie maker, it crashes. The m4a and mp3 downloads are right there. I used Xilisoft Audio Converter to convert the m4a to mp3. Could someone point me in the right direction or convert this for me?

Instead of converting it to a MP3, convert it to a WAV file. WMM has issues importing and editing with low/medium bitrate MP3s.

and especially never use anything that has "mov to mp3" on the URL because it was made by the Devil and his minions.
