FLCL Season 2

Alright, it started yesterday at Suncoast when the cashier said there might be one, and me and him were talking about it for a few minutes, so today i google it, and get a bunch of uncertain junk about it, so now im wondering about it. Is there gonna be one Maybe, Absolutely or Not?

He's not talking about a sequel; he's talking about the remastered editions, the metric craploads of merchandise, the video games, the live-action movie that is currently on hiatus, the four new animated movies expected to hit soon, the <s>Girlfriend of Steel 2</s> Angelic Days manga, the new SD thing...

And as much as part of me wants to see more FLCL, I hope that these sequelses really can't become. It ended very well (a rarity with GAiNAX, I know) and I really can't see a good way to continue the story past the ending point.

It doesn't matter, it's not like most people who saw FLCL realized there was a story in it.

I don't have a problem with milking an anime series; if something goes wrong in the plot I can always go "It didn't happen, it didn't happen..." and everything's alright.

How remastered do you need? The video quality of the original was damned good to begin with.
