Everything popular has that happen. It's not worth being annoyed over.

the four new animated movies expected to hit soon,
O Rly? Is this info on wikipedia or something? What are the movies, rehashes along the lines of "Death"?
And as much as part of me wants to see more FLCL, I hope that these sequelses really can't become. It ended very well (a rarity with GAiNAX, I know) and I really can't see a good way to continue the story past the ending point.

As a matter of fact, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebuild_of_Evangelion">yes it is</a>.

Well, Naota finally admitted his feelings for Haruko, only to have her demonstrate clearly that her goal of getting Atomsk back was more important. Mamimi finally realized she had to move on from Tasuku and struck out on her own. Ninamori got over her issues, as well as the high jump bar. The characters that needed <s>developers</s> development got it, and no issues were left hanging.

And they didn't totally take the cheap, unfulfilling way out like they did with Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi.

Actually this is more than rumor or speculation. There is someone out there who has had regular contact with the Gainax branch here in NA, and is currently writing the script for a full sequal of possibly 24+ episodes. Knowing Gainax, there either just bieng nice and curteous, or they're cowering under their desks. Anyway If you don't believe me, you can read it yourselves and hopefully get in contact with the man behind a possible revolution. From what I've talked with him, he's very devoted. He's already gathering together a soundtrack and what not. Of course nothings for certain, but he's seriously giving it a shot.

wow, the guy says doesn't say Gainax until he's called out actively about mispelling it on the second page. Every time he's just saying gintax. Have you read that crap? He even admits to having lied about all that copyrighted stuff he said at the end of page two.

DO NOT WANT.

I like FLCL...but another season would just kill it.

<i>What?</i> I mean, I really like what they're doing with Kaoru and all, but come on... the leads are so emotionally retarded that their relationships never get anywhere. It's almost painful to read sometimes.

milking a series has its downfalls... Naruto and Inuyasha spring to mind, as well as Pokemon and Digimon...
