5 centimeters per second

Post by Illia Sadri » Sun Mar 04, 2007 3:04 am

Downloaded and watched part one. It's a bit of a tease as it is pretty much mostly setup for the other two parts. And quite depressing... it is on par with Hoshi no Koe there. Actually it reminds me in a lot of ways of it.

Although I must admit.... it's very pretty. Lots of short scenes. A bit slow moving as it is part one of three and Shinkai is never known for fast pacing to begin with. But probably once the rest is released it will make for very very pretty drama videos.

Not a bad way to spend an evening wiped out from the cold from hell

I'm gonna wait for the whole thing to come out, but man, I'm really excited to see it.

Anyway, I also recommend this anime. It's very moving and very beautifully drawn.

I have seen the first part and i must admit that i almost cried...

It's pretty much the sadest thing i have seen in my entire life even better than beyond the clouds: the place promised in our early days.

I assure you that it's worth watching. It's not that big. Just 156 Mb^^

Drama, of course. Shinkai doesn't do anything else, and we love him for it ^_^

Drama, sentimental romance, and depending on the work, a dose of sci-fi theory.
GeneshaSeal - Dead Seals for Free
Orgasm - It's a Science
