i remember watching this long time ago... so the description might not be accurate:
ok so... there is this kid around 12 who has this small laptop like suitcase.. he opens it up and it has controls and a screen... he uses the controls to control a robot and the suitcase thing has a screen which essentially shows what the robot is seeeing... the robot doesnt have any powers except... he has this killer move where he headbutts and kills opponents or maybe kicks i am not sure.. the robot is black in color... has this thiing on his head like the spartan soldiers do.. i totally forgot about this anime until i saw the spartans in 300 with that sharp thing that they were on their head.. anyway.. thank you for any info in advance!

this anime looks pretty new to me... but its not it.. and it couldnt be any of their other versions cause the story doesnt sound like the one i saw long time ago... i am talking back in the 80s!!angelx03 wrote:Tetsujin 28th or any of its incarnations?

You do realize that Tetsujin 28 (aka. Gigantor) has been around the 1960s? I can't think of any other giant robot show that uses a similar control scheme to operate the robot. Giant Robo is similar where the operator didn't operate the robot directly inside, but externally via a communicator watch.
