I remastered one of my older videos, and I remember having a lot of fun doing it.

I've been thinking about remastering an old furuba vid, but then again, all I've been doing is 'thinking' up ideas - I never get around to actually editing.

I think the question is, who doesn't.

I remaster vids that i thought had more potential, So far i've been right.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

less than half of the time i'll go back and edit some of my previous work, noticing that the certain scene used in that piece really didnt fit.

thought for the majority i dont because if i keep improving on them long after they've been completed, i'll lose the originality of what i created in the first place.

so more often than not, i dont go back.

I was working on remastering one of my videos ("Disturbing Devotion") with much better quality footage but after a while I got bored and never went back to it :/

I've thought about it, but I've arrived at the conclusion that I have no wish to. My old videos are my history, my roots, a digital record of where I've been and what I've done. The last thing I want to do is revisit old grounds when there are far more interesting fresh ones.

I did it twice so far. I may go back and redo another one of my old amv's, but I have so many new ideas right now I don't know when I will.

The two of done remakes of

The first one was

Then I was Challenged by Slayerwolf to remake it in a longer version.

and the second one I remade...

This one was originally done for my grandfather.

Then I remade it in 2005 after my grandmother passed away.

I really was close to both of them and this song meant a lot to me for I could relate to it.

There will be a time when I'll go back and remake another video. I have one in mind I would like to see redone.
No matter what, stay calm, stay cool and live life to the fullest.
Plus as Gene would say always go big in life.

The amount of selfwhoring is so cool.

But to anwser the question, if I [too] ever got the remastered Eva dvds i'd probably redo the Prescott Affair and finish the sequal I never did.

i havnt, and probably wont, unless something really unexpected happens. i dont have enough hard drive space to keep all the video clips i use, and i borrow a lot of material and i dont want to have to do that more than neccessary
and then there's the fact that i havnt really done much that's really worth remastering anyway heh

I have re-done about two of my AMV's out of all of mine. The first one was an Air Gear AMV, the second was a mixed AMV for Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.
I came, I saw, I'm still waiting.
