I'd take your opinion more seriously if it wasn't for these facts, this song hasn't been used before and in that way is as original as NIN can get. I edited this completely different than I have edited many other of my videos. Coming from a guy who's last two videos have songs that have been used over 20 times, doesn't really hold much weight.

It doesn't matter what I use in my vids. We're talking about your amv now. Besides, I've got all NIN albums & like them very much, so may be I was wrong about the music. But what about the concept in this vid? Just another EOE vid, nothing more....

BTW, I know that songs were used lots of times before, but! I've never seen anything worth enough to stop myself from chosing the song. Even when SVS were making Freaks, we saw that "Slipknot-Before I forget" has been used lots of times, but we took that song and made something really good. I want to say that I pick songs and make smth really original, compared to the things that were made before with that songs.
The point is that even if you picked up the song unused before, you still failed to create original smth. Not that I'm saying you could never make that AMV, but it could and must be better!
You know, I do not hate you, quite vice versa, I like your AMV "Edge of the Earth". Yet, you've used the song, which was used in another AMVs before, but still, it looks very nice to me, compared to the others' AMVs
And that's the bottom line =)

Good flash effect with the transparencies. Now make a real vid with it instead of a gimmick video. You can even use the same anime and the same song, I won't mind, but now that you've proved it works well I wana see it used somewhere it adds to the video.

There are storytelling issues with this video. Unoriginal concept. Painful effects (which aren't original anyway, Knives' static is the king of strobing eye stabbing effects). All measure up to a lack of emotional punch.

Visual and audio quality is outstanding, but your video fails to move me. I'm not about gimmicks. I'm about heart and your video just doesn't have any that seems to speak to me. This is not to say it lacks it internally. Perhaps I simply am not understanding your message.

Few people seem to get my KOR video's contextual basis, since they haven't seen the series... but then again, I've seen EoE. More than once. So...? *shrug*

I dunno. Just not doing it for me.

What do you mean by a gimmick video? You want me to edit it differently? You don't like how I edited it? What are you trying to say.

There are absolutely no effects in this video so I have no clue what you are speaking about. I only used rubber bands. If you read my comments you would see what I am going for. If you don't think it works, just say that, don't point out things that aren't there.

Rubber banding IS an effect. Transparencies are an effect. Transitions are effects. Just because something isn't labeled "X EFFECT" in the "EFFECT MENU" doesn't mean it isn't an effect.
