Me love Rahxephon and me love Miracle, so me download! :3

Though I have to say;
you had quite bad image quality,
and the clips were just randomly thrown together and you lacked a good synch. There were too many beats that were untouched that could've made the vid better!
So for future works;
work on synching
and work on trying to build a story that goes with the lyrics

*left an OP too*

I'm torn on this one. Because the vast majority of the video was uninteresting, mainly because there was no real concept - just a bunch of random clips thrown together.

However, from about 2:00-2:45 when the song broke into the chorus for the second time, that part of the video was satisfyingly intense, and even a little emotional. It made having to sit through the rest of the video worth it.

I could tell this was very experimental; there were lots of stray effects that didn't really make any sense and didn't fit (that film effect that started at around 3:06 comes immediately to mind), and some weird transitions that didn't go with the rest of the video. Also some orphan frames here and there, and quite a bit of lip flap, especially in the beginning minute or so. And the visual quality/filesize has been mentioned several times.

Overall I ended up enjoying the video, if only for that portion in the middle. As an editor I think you have potential, and I think if you dedicate more time to your future projects and put a little more thought into them (especially concerning a concept) you could come up with some great videos.

Sorry, but I can only give this video 2/5 stars. Nice try, but you'll undoubtedly get better so keep at it!

Hmmmmm. Well, I suppose for a first video it's not the worst, though its not the bes either, but it's hardly reasonable to expect perfection on a first try. I'll try not to repeat what others have said too much. First off, the boders. Trust me, I know what a pain in the ass it is to deal with the letterboxing that appears in parts of RahXephon while the rest is fullscreen, especially when you're still getting the hang of all the technical stuff, but I'm not quite sure why you decided to crop/letterbox the sides too. Perhaps the section in the .org Guides dealing with cropping and resizing would be helpful for you. As others have said, the scenes were kind of random, especially towards the beginning. I would also recommend not using quite so many scenes where people are standing around talking - they don't really help build mood in the video. I think this video could have benefitted from more lyric sync as well. However, I did feel there were parts farther into the video that were good, and worked very well with the lyrics to create a mood (it seemed like you were getting a better feel for things by this point). I also saw what concept you were trying to get at this video, and it was a fairly good one. I think if you had some more experience you could create some pretty good amv's. I would leave you an op with more details, but I'm lazy, I have very little spare time, and my brain currently feels like cherry jello. So don't get discouraged and keep up the good work.
