A problem with uploading.

Earlier today I was using FileZilla to upload an AMV of mine. The only problem is that it wouldn't connect no matter what. I tried entering in the site, username, and password manually, and then by copying and pasting the link into the address field; still no luck. I gave it a few hours and tried again, unfortunatly, the exact same thing happened. Any ideas on what may be the cause of this?

I don't know what the deal is, but the same thing's happening to me right now. I just downloaded the program a couple of days ago, and it was working just fine then. Now it's telling me that it's "unable to connect". I had my username/password written down, so I know it's not a case of my not putting them down right.

...Boy, it'd be really great if someone could help solve this dilemma. This is driving me crazy.

chances are that you have a firewall that is blocking your attempt to connect to kero.
try turning any firewall(s) off or to a file sharing mode and try again

Okay, okay! Here's something that I've figured out just now: each username/password you get is good for only one upload. After that, you have to get new ones through the video uploading process on a-m-v.org. (My guess is that they do this for security reasons.) Angeteen, in your case, have you been able to successfully upload a single vidoe at all? If you have and are trying to upload a second video, then your username and password are expired and you need to get a new one. If not...then I don't know. -_-;;

The temporary user name and password expire after 10 days or something too (IIRC)

um, question? howcome when i looked up evanescence there were over 1000 pages but absolutely NO DOWNLOAD options, not local, nor direct, just the word NONE throughout every single page!

what is going on here?!
