good stuff...good tight editing and pleasing to watch...good rewatch factor too. Liked the effects except for the static at the very beginning ;) the horizontal bars that had the shifted blurred image were really nice too...great subtle usage.

Nice video. Good editing, nice flow and well done masks made watching this video very enjoyable experience. The noise at the beginning and the bar effect were imho not too fitting, but they didn't annoy that much also. :up:

This is most definitely your best video. I mean, I like most of your other vids, but I'm glad you picked up one that had a faster pacing. I love the feel of the video, the fireworks give me goosebumps, and the scene selection is great. I kinda feel like you might have to have seen both anime to really understand what's going on, but still, this is an awesome video, Liz.

Definitely my new fave of yours Liz~! I love how you seamlessly blended these two shows together. I think it's gorgeous. The mood sync is gorgeous.

I wasn't totally sold on the ending, you got a bit crazy with the roto'ing, it was almost disorienting @o, but it's growing on me. I've already watched it three times \o/

in all honesty it is your best AMV. I was expecting a slow song but its nice to see you ended up using a faster paced one since I doubt many people can pull off making an AMV of this pace to the two best 'slice of life' anime I've seen. So a lot of originality there :D 3:36-end this part was just awesome and pure win, nice rotoscoping very clean. 2:50-3:03 not really sure about the effect used here but it doesn't last long so its okay. To Prodigi: I didn't notice the 'eyeless' Nana face frame but it was probably taken out =P

Overall one of the best drama AMVs I've seen and I actually like this song =) Hopefully you'll make another AMV or two this year =P 5/5

Having seen both of the shows you used here, I can really appreciate what you've done with them. I never would've imagined anyone using NANA and H&C in the same video exclusively (the artwork is so jarringly different), but you pulled it off rather well. The gradual transition from 1:42 to 1:48 was great.

It's too bad that you only had footage through the beginning of NANA. It seems like so much has happened since then! Hopefully you'll try a video using the full series when all the DVDs are out. ;)

anyway, i think you already know i like it (last post was... me being bored or something). since i wasn't able to see any betas (you didn't send me any or at least didn't show me anything you were doing) before you added the very end of it, here are my thoughts...

it was good. I didn't really like that "cut out" of Nana and Hatchi at 3:45 though. All the previous ones were very static and there wasn't a whole lot of movement within the frame, at least nothing too fast. they fit just fine with the shifting of the background. This one just didn't seem right i guess...

Also, the very end with all the girls, i didn't like it :\ seemed too generic or cheesy or something. Off the top of my head i can't think of another way so i dunno.

anyway, not my favorite video of yours but good none-the-less :P

I didn't send beta's of the end to anyone really, other then those that were specifically helping me with it :\ I'd shown so many before hand that I kinda wanted the ending to be something new for everyone :3

Hmm, I never noticed that it had alot more movement really, with the R2's that I had, you have no idea how hard it was to actually find a good scene to roto of the two Nana's, so that's the one I ended up going with. :3 And the last scene, I didn't really know any other way to have all four characters together for the end which I wanted, I liked it hehehe.

Of course it's not your favorite, you're a belldandy fanboy :P

PS: you're a jerk :| you were supposed to dual release with the last video i made :\

very nice, you blended the series better than I thought possible, I'd expect it to be hard to combine the different anime styles as jasper mentioned. You pulled if off rather well, and the entire video flows well.

This reminded me of the many tines i felt like strangling Hachiko some of the things she does.... :twisted:

Honestly, I didn't realize it was considered short. I'd always assumed anything under a minute thirty to be in the "short vid" category, but two minutes seems decently lengthy to me.

I feared it would be to much of a "chick-amv" but it I surprisingly(?) enjoyed watching it. Pointing out any minor flaws is unnesessary, as it worked overall for me.

This has to be the first vid coming from you I really like.
What struck me was the conceptual combination of the two sources and the - not that sophisticated but proper use of effects used to enhance the already nice flow.

so, that's a cool video I dig it. also, the matte masks at the end should have been more random and chaotic, but nonetheless, good job ^^
