That fight against, who was it, Rinko I think, at the beginning of the Dark Tournament. Remember? The guy who made the fatal mistake of threatening Kurama's mom? Oh man. Favorite Kurama moment bar none. Sooo creapy.
Yeah! I totally agree. I like the way he's so protective of his mother. Sweet.
Remember...in one of the earlier episodes he took that mirror-thing (I forgot what it's called) to save his Mom's life (and in doing so risking is own).

Yeah. Seeing that episode is when I really started to like Kurama. There's just something about guys who are protective of their moms. ^_^

I totally agree. And not to mention that he's a demon who is curently "occupying" Shuichi's body, and who would have thought that a demon would become protective of a human?? At the very beginning, he only wanted to hide in Shuichi's body until he fully regenrated, but in the end he got attached to the people around him, especially his mother.

Kurama is by far the character that is the most complex of the four in YYH. Yusuke, Kuwabara and Hiei all have their hidden secrets, but none of them are as deep as Kurama....i mean, you lear something different about the guy in practically every episode.....it makes you think about what else this quiet redhead has up his sleeves that he isn't telling anyone.........

Wow...
Sorry there's so much time between my posts. I apparently only get ONE notification e-mail... :x
Anywho, that's off-topic...
That guy near the beginning of the Dark Tournament? I think his name was Roto. In the English dub he has an annoying Mexican accent. I kept saying "Oh, no, Kurama has to fight the Taco Bell dog!"
Yeah, I really wanted him to die. So glad he did.
Kinda sends a message out to anyone who might want to make a 'yo momma' joke around Kurama.
Also, it was the first time I was really able to hear Kurama's theme song used in the show itself (I downloaded an AMV of it before that). Much love for that.
And I can't imagine girly-Kurama either...and I'm kinda grateful for that.
Sayonara for now.
*Ninja Vanish!*
"Well, it appears we've found a maze in Maze Castle"- Hiei.
Wow...didn't see that comin'.

Hahaha, that's pretty good. Nice job.
heyy thanks

When I first seen Hiei in the series, I actually thought he was just some unimportant evil demon that was just a part of that mission Yusuke had to take. He looked pretty...un-hot.. then i saw pics in the internet and I as like dang he rele does look cool. =D I never thought he'd join Yusuke on the rest of his missions. Glad he did cuz he kicks ass.

Kurama, when I first saw him he reminded me of all the characters from Knights of the Zodiac  thats so funny because the similarities of them were used in the Animix Full project Amv lol Neways, laughing aside, Kurama is a generally chill person, I'd definitely hang wit him. =D Scary at times..but chill. I guess it's because he doesn't reveal much about his past, he has Hiei talk about him...Kurama shouldn't be mistaken for a girl (even tho he mistaken for one in the series...oy..) he doesn't act like one and he's pretty manly to me :?

overall both characters seemed kinda weird at first but they got cooler later on. Yusuke and Kuwabara also. Genkai kicks ass =]

Yeah, I think I only mistook him for one because I saw just a few seconds and I wasn't used to guys having long hair yet.

I wonder if the author (keep forgetting his name) originally thought of bringing Hiei back after the three treasures arc. I'm so glad he did because Hiei is a really cool demon, and gives Kurama someone to talk to.

It's gotta be rough being several times older than everyone else.

I agree with you Brigid and Shadowninjagirl. Hiei definitely adds in a LOT of spice to the anime. It would definintely be kinda dull if he wasn't there at all. But then there's the deal with his sister, Yukina.

I think there was a part in the anime where she tells him that she left Koorime to find her twin brother, but also said that to live in Koorime, one had to freeze her heart and she didn't want that. Was Hiei angry about that?? Cause it looked like he minded when she said that........^^;

I think he was struggling with himself over his resolve not to tell her who he was. And annoyed that she was looking for him and putting herself in danger.

Not to mention tempting a few loose lips he knows.

Yeah....he knew who she was......but i get the feeling that she has an idea of his true identity, but doesn't quite grasp it. Also, Kuwabara would most likely be extremely frightened by the thought that Hiei's Yukina's long lost twin brothers....^^;,.......poor guy.........
