Ok, I don't know why, but it seems that my ancient method of conversion doesn't work anymore.

So, I need your help.

I'm stuck in Virual Dub Mod. I've arranged the .avs file in DGindex, and I've imported it in VDubM. Now, I have to ''save as'' my file, so it will be .avi.

I chose Lagarith as ''compresser'', but my output reach and stop at 4 gb.

What should I do?

Segment the .avi. It looks like you have a FATS32 HDD, which can only handle filesizes up to 4GB.

There is no need for that...

@Banass Thou may try exportin' thy vid the way Scintilla said, that is in DivX or Xvid codec. It's not like thou will be editin' with thy exported vid right? If it's for viewin' then use XviD or DivX...

Or am I wrong somewhere? :?

I don't have vegas, but something tells me that you won't get as good of a result if you let vegas compress using xvid as compared to if you let vdubmod compress the export using xvid.

(maybe it's just that I have premiere pro)

from experience, vdubmod lets you control more options (which can lead to a better encode)

Speaking from experience, you won't; use VDubMod instead.
