Wow... Did I see 3 or 4 years in there?? thats freakin crazy. I thought I had patience, but to take that long for a few minutes of music video seems like you guys are on "CRAZY!" mode.

My shortest amv took me 2 hours... Longest I've taken was about 9 months.
I put it in her butt,
and got 20 bux!!!!!

Some of my older videos took an afternoon. "Shinji's Downfall" took a month working on it here and there... maybe 6-10 hours of editing. "Stay With Me" took 2 months but only about 7-10 hours of editing, 6 hours of scritping, and 24 hours of exportation. My fastest videos were my "Violent Pornography" segment from SOAD: RTI (2 hours) and my segment for Yeiweh's B-day video (3 hours)

I've done, like, 12 seconds of my new vid and it took me around 15 hours...

It all depends on how you spend your time editing. If you are using effects and lipsync, it will surely take more time, though planning and scene selection takes time, too.
I dunno, if you want to make it right, be prepared to work.

From concept to final, it took me about three years to complete Some Other Beginning's End. I started storyboarding in 2002, but the DVDs weren't available yet. I did not finish production until June 2005. Then the final version actually didn't get released until almost a year later in 2006.

95 Hours

That was my Berserk video; apart of it was I essentially made half of it. Then remade that half and then went for doing the other half. It started as a final project for a class I had in college and I just kept working on it. Most of my other videos are around the 60 hour range so they aren't even close to that Berserk video.

I concepted many of my amv ideas 6+ years ago. beat that procrastination!!

As far as editing I have no fricken' clue. sometimes I edit for 10 hours in a day, sometimes I only do 1. SOMETIMES I just open the project file and get exhausted n go to sleep lol.

1.0825 years (or 1 year and 1 month), probably spent about 200 hours on that one too.
I lost track of the time I was spending on it once I hit somewhere around 100 (about 3-4 months into it)
