AviSynth help.

Post by Kumatora » Fri Apr 06, 2007 7:21 pm

I'm following the steps here and I have the text document as colorbars.avs. When I drop it into WMP, it won't take it.

Here's what I've got so far and I apologize if this is pathetic:

Colorbars(720,480)

When I try putting it into WMP:

The selected file has an extension that is not recognized by Windows Media Player, but the player may still be able to play it. Because the extension is unknown by the Player, you should be sure that the file comes from a trustworthy source.

Which WMP? 6.4 or 7+?

And what happens if you try to continue from that dialog box?

If it can't play the file, then it probably means you don't actually have AVISynth installed...

another possibility, did you remember to add .avs to the end of your avisynth script?
