The Death Layer - Inescapable Detachment

Anime:Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Music: Three Days Gace - Get out Alive

This video describes motivations and sealed undercurrents of emotion the
charcters have sealed away. The video is dark and blurry as if traveling into the
mind of a killer and victem alike. We cannot fully see what we need to, because
the mind will not allow that.

(thank you to the mods who let me replace the video in local)

I noticed you said that you wanted that fuzzy feel, but there are colour splotches and rainbowing all the same and some very annoying lipflap the visual quality is pretty shocking although the sync is ok.

hmmm not a fan of this one sorry :(

This video was so-so. Groovy file size but it shows a lot in the actual quality of the video...also the square mask (idk what its called in Vegas, if thats what you used) got real annoying. It'd be nice if it was in some of the video, or certain parts, but it wasn't. It added to the dark tone, but nothing else was done with darker parts of the song, leaving people with the same general mood the entire time, which got dull...I'd say 2/5 for the overall amount of effort that probably went into this.

Ok, the idea was to use it throught to give no idea of a begining, middle or
end only a dreamlike state. As for effort watch the actual cutting :)

Not a huge fan of this. Good idea but perhaps not so well planned out. I dont know if you intended for lipsynching in this, but if not then even so the lipflapping is kinda irritating - a little i can cope with but in my opinion it gets very distracting.

Also FYI there's a skip at 3:54 ish that could either be audio editing or a glitch - might wanna check that out and maybe smooth it a bit.

Despite all this I liked the mood of the video, I can sort of see what you're aiming for with a dreamlike quality, but its a little disjointed in the edit. a 2/5, with a little more work maybe a 3.5/5
