SYDNEY: October 16 - October 21
BRISBANE: October 24 - October 27
MELBOURNE: October 30 - November 4
Sorry I should of posted this sooner...
The premiere's include none other than the highly talked about Cowboy Bebop the movie, the gender bending Adolescence of Utena, Spirited away...Well! an array of anime...I admit by the look of the program true otaku's might have seen a large percentage of what's on offer at this convention, but I still think if you are local and want to go to the convention it will be worth it...

Cool For You!
My first Anime Movie I ever saw was Utena.... it's also one of my favourites... Cowboy Bebop does indeed Rock the body, that rocks the party and Spirited Away I have yet to see, but its showing in 3 theatres downtown.... ENJOY!

This seems to be little more than an anime marathon (nothing more than anime screenings). If that's the case I probably won't be travelling interstate for it. Whenever I go to a con I'll probably sit in on one or two screenings, but that's it. I mainly go for the other festivities.
I could contact the local cinemas in Adelaide and try to get the event extended down here (so far I've managed to get: Blood, Spriggan and Metropolis) so it's not an impossibility... but, considering my time-frame, unlikely.

Actually you and anyone who might be able to attend a convention in Sydney or Melbourne might be able to help...
Currently me and several people I know are attempting to organise a convention. I am in the midst of my 12th episode into my first amateur animation and one of the other organisers owns a successful anime store...The question is what would you like to see and do at an Anime convention... ie: Contests, displays viewings or guest appearances. Generally any suggestions you could provide would be helpful.
