Xvid - avi ?
so we should not use xvid or avi in adobe premiere?

Avi's are fine. However, Xvid and DivX can cause all sorts of problems with editing. You'll need to encode those into a lossless codec such as HuffyUV or Lagarith.44

And you should resize your avatar yourself. The issue of the edit button has been discussed many times.
