HELP! Media Player Classic won't play!

It happens a lot with AVIs, not so much MPGs. It didn't happen before but now it's suddenly happening! Anybody help me?

BTW, Windows Media Player could play those files, but not Media Player Classic.

sounds more like the internal filter(s) are turned off

No, I didn't install anything new or anything...maybe I'll check the internal filters or something.
