I was wondering what yall think is the longest running anime. for me i think its Pokemon since it was the first anime i saw and it also first came out when i was like in 4th grade and its still ongoing, so i was just wondering

Oh and pokemon no. Cause they have all the pokemon branch series that count as a diffrent series IMO.

But Detective Conan is definately one of the longer ones to (Can't for the life of me remember the original title)

Sazae-san (1969) - 1800+ episodes

Doraemon (1973/1979) - 1900+ episodes (including all versions and specials, it might be over 2000)

Dragon Ball /Z/GT (1986) - 500+ episodes

Detective Conan (aka. Case Closed) (1996) - 470+ episodes

Pokemon (1997) - 500+ episodes (all versions)

One Piece (1999) - 300+ episodes

Naruto (2002) - 230+ episodes (including Shippuden)

Every series except Dragon Ball is still ongoing.

Mobile Suit Gundam has 630+ episodes (That's including all series, movies, and OVA's form all the different century's)

Macross had 115 (All series, OVA's, and movies.) However there have another series in the making.
