Trying to identify an anime

A friend told me about a really good anime but he couldn't remember what it was called. All he could remember was that it was very dark, a guy lost both his arms and a leg in the first episode and the song Guardian Angel by Juno Reactor was used in it.

The song lyrics were 'Anything you need, anything at all, just come to me. I'll be your Guardian Angel?'

Anyone know what anime it is?
