Addobe premere making a circle matte?

Post by Xx151xX » Sat Apr 21, 2007 2:49 pm

in some amvs i see ppl use matte or w.e its called to make a circle out of a clip and all i can do is that 16 point matte thing and apply it to a clip like 6 times to make a good circle that takes like a hour just to do is there a way to simply make a circle? cuz the way im doing it i think is way to hard and there has to be a easier way.

make a black circle on a white background in mspaint (might be the other way around...in which case you just use invert colors in mspaint) and save it.
open up premiere, look for the image matte key effect (or image mask transition), browse for your image.

I'm using pro 1.5, so the effect/transition names might be different
