Field Order question...

Post by OhmGautama » Mon Apr 23, 2007 6:20 pm

I accidentally miss read part of the guide, and I set my Adobe Premiere Pro settings as Bottom field order ,but I deinterlaced my footage before editing. In the guide it says that if you deinterlace your video before editing you should set your setting as "no field order". I havent found a way to change field order setting. Am I out of luck? Or can I export my video as progressive?

Thanks! :D

im pretty sure that you can just change it to progressive when you export it -

but just to be thorough the only way to change settings after you start a project is to start a new project with the correct settings and then just import the old project into the new one.

Ah your right, wow I didnt know you could import any other project. That is good to know. Yah im gonna try to just export it as progressive and see where that gets me. But its good to know there is always a plan B hehe. Thanks again,I really do appreciate it! :D

One of my biggest complaints about Pro is it's inability to change project settings once you've started it. I understand WHY they would do it like that, but they should at least give you the option. However, as has been stated, you can export with different settings, so it shouldn't be a problem.
