Woo~, don't I know it. Pushin' to finish as fast as I can, Who knew this vid would require so much effect work to pull off, *sigh*, I just hope it passes inspection. The sad part being, if I do the job right, no one will notice the effects at all but it makes the video better so it's worth it.

Remember some of the best effects are those that are not seen. Some of them enhance the video so well that they aren't noticed unless your reviewing the video. Well if you need to take up to the last minute you have until May 8th at 11:59pm EST to upload your video and to email me your submission form. Which is on the first page of this post.

I will make sure to be there for both Saturday and Sunday if by some weird stroke of fortune I make the ballot. I'm sending in a comedy of a "Hell" variety (I used only one anime, though) which is live on the org, but I've made a few notable changes to it since then. Anyway, I haven't time enough to build a new one.

I would prefer to FTP this puppy since the file size exceeds 600mb (avi). Is that information available yet? I have also had to resort to a progressive scan since something keeps messing up the field order during rendering. Is this going to be an issue?

When do you think we'll know the ballot entries?

Is this enough questions for you? :P

Unfortunately we couldn't get an ftp for this year, but I'm making plans for it next year and I hope to have everything setup by November or December for the 2008 entries. You can mail it to me by the address on the first page.

As for the field order I'll let you know if it is going to be a problem. I'm burning the contest to DVD by using Nero StartSmart. It automatically converts the file to make them readable on DVD. So I don't think it'll be a problem but I'll email you if there is any.

The finalist should be known by the week of May 13th after the judges screening.

So please go ahead and send us your video. I'm glad your going to be at the convention I have a special presentation for the award ceremony Sunday @ Closing ceremonies.

Keep them coming we have just 2 weeks left before the deadline.

Uh, why don't you contact the industry? They usually are willing to donate some stuff as it is promotion for them in that case. Usually is the best way to get prizes.

We have now got some sponsors for this contest and a major one at that too. Bandai Entertainment has said they would donate to the contest.

So, how is the Judging going to work? Is it Audiance vote, or You and your friends as Judges? Just curious.
