Cookie cutter free form?

hi,

Is it possible to use the cookie cutter but free form? Like you can draw the shape you want?

Any help would be appreciated ^^. Also, how do you stop a track, like freeze it. For example, the grey naruto scenes in Premonition Studios - Naruto, at around 1:04 onwards into the AMV.

Vegas right?

go into pan and crop, and click on where it says "mask" at the bottom, and use the pen tool to make the shape you want....

to "freeze" and image, go to your clip, zoom in and cut off the last frame of the clip, right click and right click and choose "create subclip" you can then make that image stand as long as you want it and ajust the time by streatching out the clip to the desired length..
