Are you saying that the fans find these various things cute? The only ones I find cute are Osaka and Sakaki.

its a fanbase I just can't see myself ever talking too about the subject w/out getting annoyed. Its more the animes fault than the fanbase itself because of the fanbase it appeals too... can't stand fan girls when they talk about their fan girl anime.

Actually, if you look at the org there are a lot of fanboys who make vids with that anime, too. I don't have a problem with the fangirls, but the fanboys who love that show because it features adorable preadolescent girls just give me the creeps. ^^;

yes, that show does attract that, right? Then why do you like anime in the first place because you have no F'ing clue how much it attracts people like that.. look how popular loli is for example(and how it's enforced in anime). Naruto didn't start it and you'll realize you should just move on from it because of the fanbase of it. Scary.. run!!

Seems like a common opinion. No one had anything bad to say about YYH or YYH fans when I started here. Then two months after it was licensed it was suddenly a bad series with immature fans who overrate the quality of the anime. As long as it's only available by fansub, there's an elitist attachment to the fact that it hasn't been licensed and 'overrated/ruined/dragged down' by the US fans. Like the fans are more respectable if they're downloading instead of getting it at Best Buy or watching it dubbed on Cartoon Network.
