Looking for Aid.
Resently i've been trying to make a WMV with
Windows Movie Maker & SnagIt. (Beginner)
Unfurtiantly i ran into some trouble and i have no idea how to get to the other side.
When i try to Record Scenes from,
VLC Media Player. Zoom Player. Media player Classic.
(With SnagIt) (Avi / Mkv / MP4 files)
I get a Dark Screen with nothing to watch.
So i asked for advice, and i was told that i should
downgrade my hardware acceleration.
I have no idea how to do this, and i don't know if he means in
SnagIt or in (VLC Media Player. Zoom Player. Media player Classic.)
So i'm seeking some advice or a guide to how i can get past this hurdle.
Thanks On Advance Regards Cristian

Using DVD is much easier than trying to capture video from your player software. You won't have to deal with subtitles from fansubs, not to mention TV station (or DivX) logos, TV station announcements, or the occasional time code that you can find on some RAWs. Plus, if these are AVI, MKV, and MP4 files, making clips (as Purge mentioned) or converting them through VirtualDub(Mod) and using AviSynth is a better method than doing screen capture. DVDs will generally give you better quality, though.

I thanks for the reply's i've gotten so far.
Thanks Purge for the suggestion of getting a
Print Screen -Fix, As a salution to my problem (Gonna try it) But.
I'm also intersted in captureing videoes.
Like if i play a Movie in VLC Media Player and i find something i might find
intersting and i wanna capture,
maybe it lasts 01:12 mins or something (as a example).
And i don't got the DVD's of what i wanna capture,
since it's mostly downloaded movies i resive from a friend with a higher
internet connection then my own.
But i got 3 questions that i hope somebody got the answers to.
1.
Whould a (Print Screen -Fix) as Purge
suggested help me with my "Black Screen" problem.
For captureing pictures + movies. (with SnagIt)
Found in the first post
2.
Whould my "Black Screen" problem might disapear if i
downgrade my hardware acceleration in VLC Media Player. (As i understand it)
3.
And if so, how is this done. (downgrade hardware acceleration. )
