Just out of curiosity, what's the anime?
I ordered a lil of Ah My Goddess, and a very overly over used anime, Naruto, I'm not getting all at the same time, considering i'm only 14 and it takews a while to make money (mowing lawns) for the DVDs, so, yah, I'm hoping on completeting the collection of those two animes. (also buying ah my goddess DVDs for support in hopes of a third season ^^)

well, I have to thank all of you for actually spending the time to reply to my topic full-heartily, and I have one more question. I was reading through some topics and a read a post about "homemade effects for WMM) and I was curious about that. From I can guess, its adding effects to an effects foler to WMM, and I was wondering if anyone here could elaborate on that. o.O'''

Well, WMM is a pretty good video editor if you have nothing else available. Its effects aren't roughly equal to that of Premiere's or Vegas's, but I have to say, it is pretty decent. More info on the effects?: http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/Forum ... stID=74030
It's a list of custom made effects by users on that forum, and there are guides to teach you how to add them and guides to help you make your own.

imo when youre beginning you should focus more on editing than worry about effects... try to get the basics of timing and whatnot down first then jump into experimenting with effects

Well, actually, I am pretty good with timing, but i could use some work on lip synching, but other than that, i think i got the basics down, so, I'm not trying to be arrogant as to say I can do anything, bring on the effects!!, but I think I have the basics down, so a lil dab of effects could help, I'm not planning on drowning my AMV with effects though.

I think she's referring more to scene selection, creation of mood, and concept. Beat sync and the technical stuff (AR, interlacing, etc) is good too though

Seems I didn't read her post all the way through ^^; Still, what I mentioned are extremely important aspects of an AMV. You would be surprised (or maybe not) how many people completely ignore them

Well, i have no videos uploaded because all of them have been lost due to a hard drive crash, so I have nothing left.
