Feedback for what it's worth:
The first few cuts look 'unedited' try a crossfade from one clip to the other.
And that filter at the begining is annoying... it looks 'ok' at the end but it really doesn't do much for the begining, there's some good AE water effects (some work in premeire... but i guess you are not using that program) that could work instead different colours perhaps

Good idea to fade the first few scenes, as for the white-whatever-u-wana-call-it effect, i'm not sure using another color would work or have the same effect, i'll give it a shot though. As for using the effect in the beginning ... that's the only thing i could get to fit that fitted the music, black was too plain and a overlay didn't work. But i'll see if i can cut it down in a few scenes where it's not needed. And i'm thinking i'm going to change that TV effect ...i have no idea why i did that, i'll just use a B&W+radial blur effect on it or something of the sort. And i fixed the wonky synch at the end.
I work with vegas, editing with it's great but the media generator effects looks a bit cheap, i'll admit.
