Both videos - 8 points. I can't pick a favourite and I felt like both of them had their own unique aspects and styles plus I can't really find any major flaws that would make me give it a lower score than an 8. [Maybe I'm just a really nice person XD]

I really like the concept in this one. It gives off a nice feel-good mood and I like the way you had the character/editor blend in with the anime she'd editing with. The editing is clean and simple but has great flow.

This one made me smile. It has a great upbeat atmosphere and again the editing is very clean and simple but that's what makes it great and easy to watch.

Perhaps I'm a bit harsh, but neither of these lived up to last years finals (coughRAHHEYcough). Although, I'm fairly certain I know whose is whose, which I suppose is a good thing given the theme for the round...
I get what you mean about this because RAH HEY! was certainly one of the best AMVs from last year's contest but you can't always expect editors to come up with super great ideas on the spot. I think they made the best use of what they can do within the time limit. They might not be awesome videos but they're still great videos.
