Choosing a theme seems to not be going so well, because there's always going to be a number of people who don't like that theme.
If there are going to be three AMV Hell 6's as implied, then it's alright for there to be a theme to two of them.
But, everywhere that I read, people seem to to think that restricting Hell to a theme would take away the randomness that we all loved it for in the beginning.
So as for the third, why not give everyone what they want... AMV Hell 6 Classic Style.

Hi, Antonio Black from AMV Hell here!

Mostly...what now?
Not really heard of this anime you speak of.

My thoughts? Well, theming an AMV Hell around a specific anime is what the X episodes of Minis have been doing. But that's like, 5-7 minutes. Putting together enough material out of one anime to fill up most of a feature length AMV Hell is kind of a waste.
Here's a thought. Make this new anime and whatever ideas for clips come out of it into the "running gag" (like the overly long lead up to Kawaru's death from Evangelion in AMV Hell 2 or the Osaka clips in AMV Hell 3). This way its evenly spread out and has enough exposure to get a few more people interested in it.
This way, the plethora of ideas that will most likely flood into this new production-which I'd like to contribute to like last time ;)-will be able to vary.
There's way too many animes out there (both old and new) that have the potential to be something great in AMV form. Sustaining a full AMV Hell on just one anime is again...kind of a waste.
It's not the great who are strong; it's the strong who are great!

I'd be quite happy to keep the proposed programme of separate videos. I'm surely not the only one who's noticed that the decision to divide the next version of AMV Hell up is, actually, quite inspired:

AMV Hell |6|: Mostly Nichijou
AMV Hell |6|: Final Fantasy Hell
AMV Hell |6|: The End of the World

See the pattern?

I pointed this concept out back in the AMV Hell Log(0) thread...

Hullo, ssgwnbtd, when you posted reminders for Final Fantasy Hell and The End of the Universe a short while ago I noticed that you didn't update this thread. Is Mostly Nichijou still going ahead? I hope so, because I've actually been very interested in this particular segment of AMV Hell 6 and over the last couple of months I've been composing a number of My Ordinary Life skits in anticipation of the opening of submissions. The show has great energy and is charged with visual humour that offers potential for a huge variety of topics and themes, and it would certainly be a lively video.
