I've seen some of the series in Japanese, and loved it, but I wonder if it's worth it to spend a bunch of money on the series to see it in english with DVD quality. Personally, I prefer not having to read constantly to get the idea of what is being said, although it doesn't bother me too much to do so. That being said, is it worth buying, and if so, what's a good price to look for?
Thanks

I'm investing in all the DVD's no complaints at all..
Ofcourse, its taking forever to come out in my home town but i am buying them as they are released.
Its up to 12 so far,
The dubbing, yer, skip it, but atleast watch the outtakes, there just funny...
no, 'oro'..
As for bootlegs, i've only ever bought two, and i didn't realise they were bootleg, i only found out they were because.. they sucked. Not worth it if you ask me, offical releases are the shit, unless its been released by Siren.
IE, Vandread, They didn't even put chapters in properally. The 1st chapter is like the Legal stuff, logo, opening credits, eposiode, closing credits and preview.. That just shit me...

90% of my collection is bootleg, 1 because usually I only want the sub anyway, 2, I get better service with the bootlegs(I had to wait 2 months for the offical buys) and 3 the price is so much better. I can stick a few bad subtitles here and there and I don't even notice the difference in quality so what odds I say.
