What part of "someone has broken the rules set by the site owner" is opinion? As far as I can tell there are specific rules for things on this forum, if you break them you get a warning and if you continue to break them you get a ban of some degree of severity based on what's been done.

When it comes down to it, this is a site owned by an individual and it's not up to the visitors to decide what can and can't be on the site (e.g. Roms). The moderators are there to uphold the rules set by the site owner. That's really all there is to it - any objections should be posted on a thread in Site Help for consideration by Phade.

p.s. apologies to stoic for stealing that quotation. Your post holds many truths in a general sense, I didn't know if the mention of moderator abuse was directed towards any recent happenings. What you say is true, though but I don't see a great deal of abuse going on in these forums.

I've never seen someone's opinion deleted on these forums unless it was against a forum rule (like a personal attack etc)

Finally, if you are referring to the ErMaC incident in your last paragraph, it's gotten quite old. It was an accident, and we do wish Cataclysm would stop mentioning it. That was before your join date as well. Hmm...]

Yes..the Ermac incident is old..though my signature forever holds the horrified reaction to the picture forever preserved for those to remember to hit the 'preview' button when posting a pic..

christ, it's not like the mods hunted him down in the privacy of god's house and shot him in the face with a nail-encrusted 2 by 5, the guy left. if all he was going to do anymore was draw the same exact character over and over again, and make retarded topics about himself, then i really don't care that someone played fussball with his arms.
