Try Mac OS X. It features dynamic memory so Premiere and the other anti-memory Adobe products only take up as memory as they really need minute to minute. Even if you have to use virtual memory in OS X you only get the CPU slow down associated with virtual memory when your switching applications.

Yes, and that's where a Mac will do better. I prefer a Mac to do video editing and graphics work over a PC.
But the Mac costs so much... :cry:

yeah, i like macs to do the grpahics and video work, but then i hate it at the same time cause it doesn't work with anything, or it's expensive or hard to do.

and what's up with Virtual PC? doesnt that sorta take away the whole point of getting a MAC or whatever?
