Kenshin in 16-Bit Sound!

omg that was fun... good idea i must say. takes me bak to the old SNES days....
BTW, SNES music was MIDI - not 16 bit or w/e u people r discussing.
good job on vid, though of course the scenes couldve been done better in some parts ( specifically the victory dance part).

Depends. DVD-Audio DVDs can be 2-6 channel 12, 16, 20, or 24-bit audio at 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, or 192 KHz (think of the kind of details you could catch at 24-bit 192 KHz audio...)

DVD-Video DVDs are 2-6 channel 16-, 20-, or 24-bit 48/96 KHz audio. Usually.

To be honest, the victory dance part was kind of an afterthought. Without the skills to splice a little more repetition into the battle theme, I didn't have enough time to add Kenshin's revelation about his sword at the end of that fight, which was the whole point of the fight in the TV series. I also needed to add a title screen at the end, so tacking the victory fanfare on gave me a little extra time to work with.

Of course, if someone watches the video that hasn't seen the Kenshin/Chou fight in the first place, the rest of the video really isn't enough to make sense of that last part, the music track was just too short to insert the extra footage that would have required. Still, for my own purposes, I'm pretty happy with the video.

Pretty nice vid. But for you victory dance part, you could've just used footage from another part of the series (although I'm not sure kenshin ever dances), and it still would've made sense. Anyway, you can't go wrong with FF music. I'm currently hatching a new project involving the song "You're Not Alone" from FF9 and some melancholy, depressing anime
