Re: r
So basically you just wanna use the Sega tracks but not incorporate the game footage? Hmmm...you may wanna wait till after the NES project ends and see what is planned for next year. We may do something similiar but incorporate more game stuff. Just a suggestion though.Nemoxs wrote:Actually I eat my words, I DID post and say you CHOULD use 5% game footage, but no more, it's just discouraged.

Why wait untill someone else's project ends? besides it's fucking sega, theres a diffrence in sega, and nintendo (I belive some kid in 6th grade said this to another kid with a fist ).
I personaly like the idea better than the nes project, I've spoken to people on it to see what their gonna do, I see what you guys are gonna do, good ^_^ glad to hear it. But this is for sega. Soooo yeah.
Anyway will still DO have 3 spots left.

Because after our Project ends, you will have an idea what you want to add or subtract to your project. Aside from DDR Project and Mission Improbable, you need to see if this kinda thing with video games is going to catch on with people
And by the way, Use Game Footage! Your project will look really lame with just anime to the music remixes (this is just my suggestion after working on NES project videos).

I have a shit load of saturn and dreamcast games so I might just do that. I dunno this is really trying to be a "group" video thing. I need people to comunicate with, thats why I asked some of the people I did.Machine wrote:Nemoxs wrote:Why wait untill someone else's project ends? besides it's fucking sega, theres a diffrence in sega, and nintendo (I belive some kid in 6th grade said this to another kid with a fist ).

Dude if your gonna do a sega project at least start with the classics...start with original Sega game not Dreamcast or SaturnNemoxs wrote:I have a shit load of saturn and dreamcast games so I might just do that. Re: d
I'm saying wait mainly for the reasons Carlos is pointing out but also...the group that did NES may want to try our hands at Sega next. 8) So, I thought maybe you would wanna wait and see about maybe trying to latch on to that project. It's up to you though, I don't think anyone will have a problem with you doing your own project. I wish you luck.Nemoxs wrote:Why wait untill someone else's project ends? besides it's fucking sega, theres a diffrence in sega, and nintendo (I belive some kid in 6th grade said this to another kid with a fist ).

Is there some sort of pecking order when it comes to projects? It sounds like because you guys already have a project using game music, that no one else is allowed to try something similar without asking permission first. If you have first 'dibs' on game music projects, that should be explained somewhere. It doesn't sound quite...fair...to say that since you've done one project with a set of game music that all future projects with that sort of thing should be cleared by your group first...
It just sounds like you're controlling the field...

From all the different videos I've seen... the NES Project is going to be really good!
You've only heard about the project but haven't really seen the final product... -_-
(no one on the project should have been showing the videos to anyone outside of the project before it's official release)
I don't know.. It's your project so you can do what you want..
Success or Failure is up to you as being the head of your project.
