That depends on the Bitrate A Bitrate of 192 is CD quality. Kazaa only allows for a bitrate of 128 I believe, that's why CDs seem like better quality.
Cd is better quality no matter what when it comes to mp3's. Mp3's are a form of compression so therefor if you make a mp3 of a cd you do cut out some quality out of it.

Also 192kbps is no where near cd quality, unless your the hearing impared.

Probably never, because alot of people don't really care about quality, they really just care about having the newest single. While I cut off at transparency around 256kbps I know some people who can pick out a 320kbps vs cd every time, although they're few and far between.

It all becomes a matter of perceptual loss and actual loss, some people can't hear a difference between a 192 and a cd, it all depends on your ears and if you're trained to hear artifacting.

A judge in California made a ruling in a case against a p2p that apps like Napster, WinMX, KazZa whatever are like copy machines.

They're not inherently illegal, and they can be used for legal purposes, but they cannot be held accountable for the missuse and illegal things that can be done on them.

Word.

Looks like it's back to downloading Genotorturers for me.

I did. It basically just had the popular songs, though.

I didn't like that napster shit.
