VIZ are too busy with other projects to be releasing Eva.
Why, they have released up to volume 13 of X when there's only 18 volumes out. They also releasing Ayashi no Ceres, Alice 19th, Please save my earth and numerous other titles in the last year....
I think that Eva has been pushed down the list futher and futher with wach new title they release.
Eva was the first manga I ever brought... that was back in 2001 I think. You think they could get their butts in gear and release the rest.

I think that they have pushed if further and further down their list of releases because they might think that the eva series is really old and people would not be as interested as they would with other manga series. I think that someone should send an email to them telling them that we want the eva series released soon...Hikari Sakurai wrote:VIZ are too busy with other projects to be releasing Eva.

------SPOILERS-----
dunno about that, Kaworu (not sure about official spelling yet) appears in the end of vol 7, so that might have been the pic you saw, was it a pic of Kaworu in a giant test tube type thing in the full monty? cause if it was, that's just the last page of Volume 7Hikari Sakurai wrote:I've seen scans of the Eva manga with kaoru in it... so it must be almost finish in Japan

Why, it seems that an increased spin in the earths gravitational forces has ripped my post from another thread and placed it in here.
We must build a vehicle to traverse the deep lava oceans into the earths core and ignite giant explosives in a circular pattern to return the gravitational fields to normal. Who's with me?

^__^;; Well, um, it does kinda interupt the thread there...
As for the manga... Well, isn't all of the anime out? *blink* Or is Eva one of those that start out as an anime then is made into manga...? That always confuses me... I prefer it when they come out with all of the manga first THEN make the anime...

The anime is finished, movies and all
The manga is incomplete in the US, however it is finished in Japan.

Seconded. NGE is one of my favorite series, but I'd go so far as to say that, story-wise, the manga is even better.bum wrote:i saw a few of the issues at this realy huge bookshop. i read one of them (yes at the shop, without paying for it. you'll be surprised how many people we're actualy doing this, and no-one stoped them) and id say its different enough for eva fans that bought all the dvd's to warrant a purchase.
And I'm also prone to sitting around at my local Borders, Waldenbooks, or B&N and just reading manga without buying it... the staff never seem to mind.
