  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Nice video, although I think near the end my computer couldn't handle all the quickly changing clips and effects and stuff. Unless the picture was supposed to keep freezing like that.

Darn this video is good, I feel inspired... now if only I had a better computer to do something with that inspiration.

btw, you named the file as an AMV, but to be honest, it's on an MV, not AMV
actualy its a MMV (movie music vid) . an "MV" would use all original footage

Well, not really.

MMV is more correct, but MV is still right. Though I usually use LAMV (live-action music video).

Music + video = MV

So an AMV is also an MV. That's all it is, doesn't imply original footage or anything.

good ol' flint's on 56k, so it might be a while til he gets the whole thing

but i'm sure he'll give his 2 cents when he gets time

LAMV... i've heard it before and used it, but the only times i've used it were to differenciate between animated and non-animated.. usually when talking about live-action adaptations, like the far away live-action eva movie(s) for example

guess i agree with flint, MMV seems more correct than MV because it lets someone know that instead of being AMV where it uses Anime, it used a Movie, although anime can be a movie too, Movie is usually implying with real people... so i guess that's where the LAMV term came from

so MMV more or less = LAMV but both are more specific than MV since music video can still include AMV
If you're reading this, you've gone too far...PREPARE FOR RETRIBUTION!!
Don't judge an AMV by it's anime.. u nooB ;D

I thought it was interesting. Very nice action and mood sync, and you had some decent lyric sync. But the concept was pretty much not there, excluding a few nice parts (like with Boromir) and the idea of the One Ring being a noose. So... conceptually I didn't think it was that great (except for the core idea which wasn't shown too well), but the editing and mood was solid.
