same, but since their music is based largely on the idea, it's kind of annoying to find out they used it as a marketing scheme.

This is my opinion, but there are better musicians out there that are lesbians, like Melissa Etheridge.

Alright, I loathe Tatu with a passion.

I think they're giving any possibility of new, good Russian music a bad name, they're based on a scandalous image, and they continue to perpetuate the fetishizing of inherent and delineated meanings of music and expand it to higher degrees than ever.

Can't argue with that

I don't mind them as an element of mass entertainment culture, but I still think they give Russian music a bad name.

Anyone who judges an entire nation of music on one band is rediculious. Good lord.. Do you have any idea how many terrible spanish bands there are?

yes, but ask people anywhere to name a metal or rock band with a female singer... What you get isn't the best. It never is, and if people are too dumb to understand that, then they're TOO DUMB TO LIKE MY MUSIC!
