bad dubbing:
last 13 sailor moon R eps and beyond
love hina
cardcaptors (shame cause i liked the show at first)
the sailor moon S episode where the senshi were trying to speak english ROFL

good dubbing:
pretear
yami no matsuei (okay it's good enough could be better be the people grow on you)
excel saga (well what you can translate into a dub)

A good dub that I am rewatching right now, Haibane-Renmei.

The worst dub I have ever seen, also the worst anime I've seen, Garzeys Wing. My son-in-law almost died laughing at this dub.

On topic, as I haven't watched too many older dubs, or really bad one's I'd have to go with Crest of the Stars. Had to force myself to watch it.

This isn't REALLY another sub vs. dub thread because it's not debating subs vs. dubs...it's just asking for examples. So I think it's safe...for now. FLAMERS, BACK OFF!

Dubs I liked: YnM, Cowboy Bebop, and Trigun

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE DUBS: Weiss Kreuz (sobs), Fruits Basket

Not-so-bad-but-not-so-good: Angelic Layer, Gundam Wing

Dubs I'm dreading: Matantei Loki Ragnarok and Gunslinger Girl. Both have been licensed, but I don't know anything of the release dates. I'm going to stick to my subs on these, though. And I've avoided the recently released Weiss Kreuz Gluhen for a reason....
