Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

A good job. I enjoyed this video.

What exactly constitutes as flaming? I mean if you think someone's video sucks are you just supposed to lie to them or ignore them and let em perpetuate ignorance? And seriously, there is no "nice way" of telling someone that their video isn't any good. And as I recall my post was very subjective, I didn't just say, "Your video sucks!" I actually went into some pretty indepth analysis on WHY I thought it sucked.[MOD1369: Cleared out the thread. Please try to avoid flaming when commenting on videos. [MOD1369: Alpha Hazard has a pretty good synopsis of the issue below. Disliking the video is fine, but constructive criticism is a preferred response than flaming or flame-inviting posts]

like I said...Criticism does not have to be harsh to be effective...Honest perhaps...But not brutal.
Anyway...incase that's not enough, here is honest criticism that is not brutal or harsh.
I don't like this song...I think the video would be so much better with the Lennon version...but that's okay, because it's still pretty good with the perfect circle version.
The sliding frames were cool, but they got a little dense at times...it kind of hurt.
I really like some of your transitions, like with the eye and the window...I'm not sure if that is from the actual anime, but if not, then good job. The Words were a little...weird...I don't know how to describe it...I felt like they were...overdone? anyway...perhaps if they slid across the screen and were semi-transparent...I dunno...something like that...you know? I mean...We all know what Hell Looks like too (or think we know I guess...) So is it completely necesarry?
I think you capture the theme pretty well...Maynard is the one who has trouble capturing the theme...hahaha...it's too bad too, because I love a perfect circle and tool...
anyway...The quality of the video is awesome...I don't know what that other guy was saying...
Overall I would say this is a great video, despite the fact I don't like the song...I'm glad I downloaded it.

The song wasn't olw's choice, as it was chosen by the coordinator of the French Tournament (And if you think that's bad, a reviewer gave me a 6 saying he'd give me 10's if I had used the Queen cover of my "We Will Rock You" video; which I found real stupid since it was chosen by Willow, and I had no choice...).
And I do not think the theme was captured well in this video at all. There is no communism or anything in that vein in Rurouni Kenshin, and neither was anything similar presented by his editing. It was most of the time synching to separate words and phrases, not on the whole of things. This is the same approach you can see from videos like Toushi, where it is only a word for word translation, and not one that conveys the purpose of the video.
However, some effects I found original, and the mood fit very well despite the thematic errors. Also, it is a very great video for being done in less than two weeks, and it is much much better than my French Tournament video (which I probably lost with).
